A Prodigy Son
I converted to Jesus Christ during a revival in our church when I was 13 years old. Afterwards, I would go to church and try to behave according to the Word of the Lord. But when I left the family for the Army, I got to know the world and Old Satan was with me. For 15 good years, Satan kept me in chains, cigarettes, women, and kept me away from church. In 1994, I felt like something was missing.
That's when I met a young Mason. My father and my grandfather were already Freemasons but that had never preoccupied me until I met this man. In short, he helped me join the Masons. I was initiated Master Mason on September 1, 1994. I hoped by this initiation to have found what was lacking in my life. Rather, it was the devil with one of his mirages. In January 1996, I took a trip to Japan where I met a man who would help me improve my life. Howard was a good friend, a devoted Christian.
For the next two years, he tried to get me back to church while I was busy pushing for his lodge membership. In early 1997, I finally accompanied him to church. The following Sunday, following a lot of anguish and anxious questions about the future of my soul, I finally understood the object of my soul's sigh: Jesus. I needed Jesus. It was then that I dedicated my life to the Lord again and the next day another friend visited me and offered me a Chick1 treatise on Freemasonry. Based on what I learned from this treatise, I spent the next two weeks researching.
The Lord opened my eyes and revealed to me the true face of the masons. No need to say it again, I immediately resigned from my lodge and got rid of everything I had of Masonic. The following Sunday, I made a solemn break with the lodge in front of the church. Also, the Holy Spirit freed me from cigarettes. To this day, I have not regretted my return to Christ. Before my meeting with Ex-Masons for Jesus (Ex-Masons for Jesus), I thought I was alone. I rely on the grace of God to have rich and lasting friendships. As the Lord leads me, I want to minister here in the South. Your contribution and your friendship will help me a lot. In Christ, Chuck H.
